Our amazing senior athletes had a blast at the Golden Games – an uplifting celebration that honors the lifelong dedication, enduring spirit, and accomplishments of seasoned competitors.
Hosted by Special Children’s Charities in partnership with Special Olympics Chicago and the Chicago Park District, the Golden Games festivities bring together current and retired Special Olympics athletes by providing a space to maintain lifelong friendships, share experiences, and enjoy some friendly competition.
This year, athletes brought their A-game to the bowling lanes, capping off the day with a well-deserved pizza party.
