Fiscal Sponsorship: Investing in the Community
The mission of Ada S. McKinley is to empower, educate, and employ people to change lives and strengthen communities. One of the ways we invest in the community is through fiscal sponsorships that improve access to resources that youth and families need. Our belief is that their success in life should not be defined by geographic or demographic circumstance. Our investments include violence prevention, youth and family support, behavioral health, economic development, and education. These investments are partnerships with organizations that have the experience, local knowledge, and inclusive relationships to propel their communities forward.
As a fiscal sponsor, Ada S. McKinley provides administrative services, technical assistance, fiduciary oversight, and human resources for small businesses and not-for profits engaged in charitable work. Fiscal sponsorship is a safe and supportive home for small businesses and not-for-profits that are hoping to meet their mission regardless of their IRS standing, longevity, and administrative & structural efficacy. By providing these invaluable tools and services, Ada S. McKinley has worked collaboratively with small businesses and not-for-profits who need help to meet their mission and enrich the people and communities in Illinois.
