We have officially opened our new Community Mental Health Clinic at Insight Hospital (former Mercy Hospital)! We are extremely excited and proud to be a part of reviving this sanctuary of care and healing. The clinic will serve up to 250 people weekly in 20 private counseling suites.

A special thank you to our partners, including Insight Hospital, Illinois State Senator Mattie Hunter, and Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services. And thank you to Molina Healthcare for presenting a $250,000 check in support of our Mobile Crisis Response and care coordination partnership.

A tremendous THANK YOU to our village of support for making this amazing achievement possible!!!

Since our founding 105 years ago, Ada S. McKinley has been a leader in providing mental health services, honoring the legacy of our founder by continuing her mission of empowerment, education, and care. Our agency began as a settlement house providing services to Black men when they were returning from World War I, migrating to Chicago with their families, in the midst of the 1919 pandemic.

The Community Mental Health Clinic at Insight Hospital is our fourth clinic serving the South Side of Chicago, conveniently located in and around neighborhoods in need:
