The Trace Sorey Music Scholarship Fund was established in 2016 to honor the memory of the son of Revie Sorey, the former Educational Services Director at Ada S. McKinley and a retired Chicago Bear.
Revie was instrumental in trailblazing our efforts to help graduating high school seniors overcome one of their final hurdles to college by equipping them with trunks filled with dorm and academic essentials. His son, Revie “Trace” Sorey, III, was a gifted musician, singer, and songwriter.
We are proud to partner with the family and friends of Trace Sorey to provide resources and opportunities to young people pursuing their musical interests through higher education. Each scholarship honors Trace’s life, passion, and creative legacy.
