Shout out to Devices 4 the Disabled, a nonprofit that collects and redistributes used Durable Medical & Mobility Equipment to those in need in the Chicago area. Pictured is Nelson, one of our residents, enjoying his new ride. Nelson no longer needs assistance to move from room to room and appreciates regaining his independence. We are grateful to Devices 4 the Disabled for being an alternative in cases where insurance does not provide replacement equipment. Ada S. McKinley serves 121 residents with developmental and intellectual disabilities through its Community Integrated Living Arrangement Residential program.
