A powerful advocate, Shawndell met directly with legislators to share his story and masterfully highlighted the importance of workforce inclusion. He also took center stage to present before an audience of 200+ colleagues. Shawndell did a fantastic job representing himself, our organization, and the vital need for individuals with disabilities to have access to meaningful employment opportunities.
Shawndell is employed as a supervisor through our program for individuals with disabilities, a leadership role he achieved through his deep dedication as a member of our janitorial staff.
