We provided 640 Kindle tablets and 500 internet hot spot devices for families of preschoolers in our Head Start program. The tablets are preloaded with age appropriate educational apps as a guide for remote instruction. Head Start parents and prenatal moms also received a tote bag full of toys, books and manipulatives to further engage their children in learning opportunities. During these emotionally challenging times, our Behavioral Health program is also offering mental health services to our early learning families via Zoom video sessions.
