Our Foster Care team honored Bettye Hudson, professional foster parent and now retired Ada employee of our Emergency Foster Care Shelter Program. Affectionately known as “Ms. Bettye”, she served the program passionately for eleven years and cared for over 400 youth, including large sibling groups, pregnant and parenting youth, LGBTQ youth, children who have experienced sexual abuse, and other deeply traumatized children. We salute and thank Ms. Bettye for her service and wish her the very best in her retirement.
