Our transformative impact ripples across 16 Head Start centers, 10 Chicago public elementary and high schools, 13 residential homes dedicated to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and 18 vocational training work sites encompassing janitorial and mailroom roles.
Furthermore, we provide essential support through an outpatient mental health clinic and round-the-clock crisis intervention facilitated by professionally trained responders.
Support from charitable organizations enables us to amplify resources for the individuals and communities we serve. Last summer, the generosity of our supporters facilitated over 120 college freshmen receiving trunks filled with essential supplies, laptops, and dorm room essentials. Roman Chambers, a graduate of Chicago Tech Academy attending Southern Illinois University Carbondale, eloquently expressed the significance of a college education, stating, “It allows me to explore my interests, discover new passions, expand my network, and take care of myself, my family, my community, and make a positive difference in the world.”
