Being a DSP has taught me to be dependable, observant, and flexible while providing support and encouraging individuals to be as independent as possible.”

What is one piece of advice would you give to a person who is new to the field?
“One piece of advice I would give someone who is new to the DSP field is to be patient, open-minded, and always treat the individuals you support with dignity and respect. Take the time to get to know each person, understand their needs, and learn from experienced staff.”

What makes you proud to work with Ada S. McKinley?
“Being able to see the impact of my work and knowing that I am helping others is what makes me proud to be part of Ada S. McKinley.”
