How long have you been working with Ada S. McKinley?
“7 years.”

What is the most rewarding part of your job?
“Being a Direct Person Support & Training Counselor support worker beyond assisting with the basics like showering, preparing meals and providing companionship and emotional support.

What makes you proud to work with Ada S. McKinley?
“I’m proud to work with Ada S. McKinley because of the challenges I overcome and lessons I learn. My smile lights up the persons served each day no matter what. I carry myself with confidence.”

What is something that you’ve learned while working as a DSP?
“I have learned the importance of patience, persistence, grace and humility. Displaying acts of kindness each and every day.”

What is one piece of advice would you give to a person who is new to the field?
“Be positive, consistent, and loving.”

What is one fun fact about yourself?
“I love being me and making others happy.”
