Our Behavioral Health team was represented among a small group of organizations during a meeting with Illinois Governor candidate J.B. Pritzker, politician and mental health advocate Patrick Kennedy, and Illinois State Representative Sara Feigenholtz. The group discussed the state of mental health and substance use services in Illinois and the importance of these services. The goal of the meeting was to provide information regarding accessibility issues, barriers to service, and any potential recommendations for improving the mental health and substance use system in Illinois.
