This year’s Special Olympics Summer Games was an absolute triumph for our athletes! They brought home four gold medals, four silver medals, and several ribbons. We expanded our horizons this year, taking on the State Powerlifting Tournament and the Men’s 400-Meter Run—and we swept gold in both! We are exceptionally proud of Brandon Dorsey who received an invite to run at the trials for the Special Olympics’ USA Games after earning the fastest time in the 400-Meter Run for Illinois. Our athletes and coaches had an unforgettable, joy-filled experience and are already counting down the days until we return in 2027!
