The Vocational Training and Job Development and Placement program assists persons with developmental disabilities and other economically disadvantaged individuals secure integrated employment, attain economic self-sufficiency, and engage in competent community living.

Three vocational training facilities provide daily production, vocational training, social habilitation, and developmental training to individuals. These Community Rehabilitation programs provide the following services: intake, vocational evaluation, developmental training, work adjustment training, work services, job placement, supported employment, and janitorial services.

Ada S. McKinley makes use of multiple federal, state, and commercial job opportunities to place individuals who have successfully completed training in supported and competitive employment.

A recruitment, training, and referral program, Project Caring, prepares individuals for employment as Personal Assistants. Individuals who complete this training enhance the lives of homebound persons with disabilities by assisting them with daily living activities and medical needs.

Through a Janitorial Services program, individuals receive specialized training in the application of cleaning methods and procedures, chemical applications, and janitorial processes. Upon completion, individuals receive job placement assistance in their effort to secure competitive employment in the open labor market.

The Resource Opportunity Life Employment program prepares unserved and/or underserved persons with disabilities for employment opportunities through intake/outreach, vocational evaluation and training, case management, job readiness and job placement services.
