McKinley Community Services, Inc. was ranked the ninth largest Chicago charity in 2003, with a $38.3 million operating budget. McKinley joins 24 other prestigious human services agencies with budgets ranging from $153.9 to $17.6 million in the Crain's List. The listing includes tax-exempt charitable organizations registered under section 501(c)3 of the U.S. tax code, including national charities with operations in the six-county Chicago area: Cook, DuPage, Will, Lake McHenry and Kane counties.
